"I had the pastizzi with pea filling. The crust was a little different than the phyllo/more style, more like a pastry crust. I'm surprised how much I liked the pea filling and crust!! Delicious, hot, and filling. I will come back and try the ricotta one since it's the other traditional flavor. Definitely get one, go find a nice place to sit (I found a small park at a traffic circle out of the sun) and sit and enjoy the soft air and life around!"

"We visited here for a quick snack in the morning. The prices were amazing, as was the food! The pastizzi was especially delicious, and the worker took the time to explain everything to us which helped us decide what to eat. I would definitely recommend this for some quick eats."

"Lacklustre affair to be honest. I had high hopes...a welcoming service and tasty pastizzi...I got neither. Don't get me wrong...the chicken pastizzi was CHEAP! 70c...what a bargain! 😄 But for the first time eating this food I was excited to see what Malta is famous for. But it was disappointing. It tasted OK and was very flakey...but boy was it greasy! I'll stick to Greggs when I return home! The service was purely functional...not rude but no attempt to be friendly either. They had sold out of apple pies too which was disappointing. If you're coming here for something amazing...temper your expectations!"
